Perkins & Co's Portland, OR, and Vancouver, WA, offices are open
without restrictions. We are hiring nationwide, with more than 1/4
of our workforce being fully remote from outside the Portland and
Vancouver metro areas. Most of our local team has autonomy to
decide whether to work on-site, remotely, or hybrid. Interviews
will be held virtually in most cases.The work location for this
role is flexible; we are open to a fully remote arrangement for
candidates who are located in the United States. Candidates
interested in relocating to the Portland area may be eligible for
moving assistance. We are not sponsoring visas or hiring

that in several ways, one of them being reasonable hours
expectations. Full-time Seniors are expected to work 2200 2250
total hours/1550 1650 billable hours annually (expectations vary
per level of experience). This means the busy season target is 45
50 hours/week with generally no expectation to work weekends.Salary
begins at $80K, varying DOE and geographic location.What's expected
of a Tax Senior in the Expat Practice?Accurately and thoroughly
prepare various US tax returns with international aspects (both for
US expatriates and foreign nationals)Manage competing priority
deliverables and communicate accordingly to deliver excellent
client serviceFoster teamwork and innovation to enhance the client
service experienceInterface with clients to gather data and assist
in relationship managementCommunicate both internally and
externally to manage expectations and keep engagements
progressingDevelop and motivate engagement staff by providing
technical assistance and other support as neededWho Qualifies?3+
years' recent experience in public accounting, preferably in a
large local/regional or Big 4 firmMinimum 1 year of recent
experience preparing expatriate and foreign national tax
returnsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient
with use of office technology and software (e.G., Microsoft Office,
Practice Engine, CCH Axces, etc.); experience working in apaperless
environment requiredStrong problem solving and organizational
skills; high level of attentionto detailsCPA or EA preferredWant to
