Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Position requires a Master’s
degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible
for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. A
hospital-based speech-language pathologist in their Clinical
Fellowship Year (CFY) is needed to provide specialized speech
therapy services in an educational setting. This role offers the
unique opportunity to work within schools while incorporating
travel between locations, delivering essential support to students
who require speech and language intervention. Responsibilities
include: Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and
communication disorders in school-age children Developing and
implementing individualized treatment plans based on student needs
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to
support student progress Maintaining accurate records and
documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards
Participating in professional development to advance skills in
speech-language pathology Preferred qualifications: Completion of a
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state licensure
or eligibility to obtain licensure in Delaware Enrollment in or
completion of CFY requirements Strong communication and
interpersonal skills to effectively work with students and school
staff Willingness to travel between school locations as required
Must be open to relocating to Wilmington, DE, to meet position
