MAIN FUNCTIONS Responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling the day-to-day field operations for the assigned crafts and subcontractors. A typical scope of responsibility would be Field Superintendent or Area Superintendent. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES In addition to all Level 1 tasks, a Level 2 Construction Superintendent will: â?¢ Understand and execute assigned construction tasks within the project scope â?¢ Understand and interpret plans and specifications â?¢ Successfully execute projects within contracted schedule and budget â?¢ Work with multi-discipline engineering teams monitoring and controlling scope, schedule and budget â?¢ Manage field crews and operation and maintenance of earthwork equipment â?¢ Respond to field and client information requests â?¢ Champion Worker Safety Programs â?¢ Oversee site contractor fabrication, construction, and hookup work activities during Execution Phase â?¢ Serve as member of the Project Team (PT) when project assigned â?¢ Provide the interface between the work face and the Construction Site Manager or Construction Site Lead SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS â?¢ Experience in-field Construction planning, execution, and completions â?¢ Willing to travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites â?¢ Past Construction Superintendent experience on major capital project â?¢ Familiar with Construction Materials Testing procedures and ASTM standards â?¢ Enthusiastic, self-starter with desire to provide excellent service to clients With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
