Hillsboro Oregon.Role and responsibilitiesThe firmware team is
responsible for embedded software development on e-beam inspection
products of ASML.In this role, you will have the opportunity tackle
new and exciting technical challenges each day as you develop
firmware on embedded system with mixed signal and FPGA based on
system specifications and requirements.We are looking for engineers
with strong technical background in embedded software development
in real-time OS.This position may require access to controlled
technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15
C.F.R. - 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally
authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning
work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with
candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled
technology.Education and experienceBSEE or MSEEMSEE with 6+ years
of work experience and/or PhD 3+ years, Electrical or Computing
Engineering.Strong Verilog or VHDL coding skillsExperienced on FPGA
board level design with Intel Quartus including RTL design, module
level simulation, timing constrain, STA timing analysis
etc.Experienced on bus protocol (Avalon streaming, Avalon Memory
Mapped etc.) and industry interface (SPI, UART, Ethernet etc.)
design.Experienced on DDR3 or DDR4 memory control design and
High-speed SerDes interface control design.Solid digital hardware
knowledge and circuit schematic read capability. Analog hardware
knowledge is a plus.Experience on Linux system and C coding is a
plus.Strong trouble shooting skills and communication

informationThe California base annual salary/hourly range for this
role is currently $134,625.00 $224,375.00. Pay scales are
determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data.
Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment
of several factors that that are unique to each candidate,
including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant
education and experience, certifications, abilities of the
