We are recruiting for an experienced Operations & Maintenance Manager (O&M Manager) with the responsibility for the implementation and management of the Anaerobic Digestion plant's maintenance and operations program to optimize operations and cost savings. The O&M manager works with all employees to assure plant facilities and equipment are always maintained in a safe and efficient operating condition.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Plans, organizes, controls, integrates and evaluates the work of assigned staff; with staff, develops, implements and monitors work plans to achieve goals and objectives; contributes to the development of and monitors performance against the annual department budget; supervises and participates in developing, implementing and evaluating plans, work processes, systems and procedures to achieve annual goals, objectives and work standards.
- Confers with and advises staff regarding system needs and requirements.
- Reviews and coordinates with appropriate personnel on the implementation of local, state and federal laws and regulations.
- Plans, coordinates, directs, and oversees the scheduled and emergency installation, maintenance, repair and servicing of the plant's equipment
- Develops and implements strategies and plans to ensure that all major critical equipment is operable. Define and explain key processes and process requirements within the department
- Ensure department goals and objectives are aligned with other departments
- Ensures the safety program and goals are implemented and carried out in the Maintenance Department.
- Maintain plant's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Oversee the activities of maintenance, electrical personnel, and operations.
- Ensures facility is maintained in a clean, orderly and safe condition
- Assist in the screening and hiring of maintenance personnel.
- Complete other tasks as requested by the Plant Director.

Leadership Responsibilities and duties
- Provides day-to-day leadership and works with staff to ensure a high performance, customer service-oriented work environment that supports achieving the department's mission, objectives and values.
- Supervises contractors on site to ensure their safety and quality of work
- Respond positively to unpredictable situations or problems that can occur throughout work responsibilities
- Set a motivational tone and establish a high degree of optimism focused on employees in the work environment

Knowledge, Skill, and Experience
- High School Diploma or undergraduate degree and at least five (5) years of experience in industrial/municipal plant maintenance/operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, electrical) - strongly preferred
- Experience in Plan, assign, direct and coordinate variety of functional specialties with overlapping work areas
- Experience in managing and directing a large industrial maintenance program
- 5 years of Industrial and/or Production Maintenance Management
- Principles, methods, practices, techniques and equipment common to the operation of a large industrial/municipal plant
- Administrative principles and methods including goal setting, program development and implementation
- Safety regulations, safe work practices and safety equipment
- Computer applications (ie. Microsoft Office, CMMS)
- Principles and practices of preventative, predictive and reliability centered maintenance systems
