in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology
(ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity
is tailored for an experienced Cath Lab Technician skilled in
cardiac imaging and catheterization procedures. The role is based
in Lakewood, NJ, and offers a contract position ideal for
professionals seeking to apply their technical expertise in a
fast-paced cardiac care environment. Key Responsibilities: Ensure
the safe delivery of cardiac services by adhering to strict
procedural protocols. Pass Monitor Technician Certification and
Annual Telemetry Review to maintain required standards. Utilize and
maintain technical equipment, including x-ray and film processing
machinery, identifying and addressing equipment issues promptly.
Accurately obtain, calculate, and analyze hemodynamic data to
assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Prepare and educate
patients regarding procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
throughout. Maintain detailed procedural logs, documentation, and
proper labeling of films and records. Manage supplies efficiently,
monitor expiration dates, and uphold clean, organized workspaces
with par levels maintained. Scrub alongside cardiologists during
invasive cardiac procedures such as LHC, RHC, PTCA, STENT, PTCRA,
PTMR, and TEC, following aseptic surgical technique and universal
precautions. Verify patient identification, consent forms, and
compliance with low risk criteria before procedures. Follow
policies and procedures for equipment operation, troubleshooting,
quality control, and archival systems. Qualifications and Desired
Experience: Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technician or in a
similar cardiac imaging role. Certification as a Monitor Technician
and demonstrated ability to complete Annual Telemetry Review.
Strong understanding of cardiac catheterization lab systems and
ability to troubleshoot equipment. Familiarity with invasive
cardiac procedures and ability to assist with scrub tech
responsibilities. Effective patient communication skills and
commitment to safety and aseptic technique. Detail-oriented with
excellent organizational capabilities for documentation and supply
