• Setting: Outpatient Oncology Clinic (Oncology Nurse Practitioner role)
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Contract)
• Duration: 3 months with option to extend
• Start Date: May 4, 2026
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:30am-5:00pm or 10:00am-6:30pm
• Patient Census: 12-15 patients per day
• Call: No call responsibilities
• EMR: EPIC (Health Connect) - EPIC experience preferred

• Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) in an outpatient oncology clinic
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Ability to obtain California NP licensure if not already held (California NP jobs candidates encouraged to apply)
• Vaccination preferred; waivers considered
• Familiarity with EPIC (Health Connect) EMR preferred

• Provide clinic-based coverage for oncology patients, including follow-up and some new patient visits (3, 6, 12 month appointments)
• Coordinate care with ancillary services, order oncology tests, and manage prescription refills
• Follow up on treatment plans and evaluate patients prior to chemotherapy administration
• Perform bone marrow biopsies (preferred, not required)
• Manage both in-person and some virtual patient visits from the clinic (telehealth/virtual visit experience helpful)
• Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and other members of the oncology care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
