access controlled technology."Role and responsibilitiesWe have a
unique and exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative
Technology Development team, focused on conceiving and
demonstrating the technologies required for next generations of
high-power extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light sources. Based on a
laser produced plasma (LPP), our light source relies on a wide
range of unique and challenging technologies, ranging from laser
light amplification and high-power optical systems to laser
produced plasma for EUV generation, electro-optical signal
detection and algorithm-based actuation for process control.The
Laser Research Group, within the Technology Development Team, leads
the development of new laser and optical technologies for the EUV
source. The laser is the heart of the EUV source, so the impact of
the team is one of the largest for the company. The team is
responsible for pathfinding new laser architectures, developing new
optical systems and working with other teams to validate innovative
ideas. The laser systems used for the EUV source is the one of
highest power (> 25kW) lasers used in an industrial product,
while also being positioned to sub-micron level. You are invited to
bring your passion, knowledge, and expertise in areas of applied
physics, plasmas, metrology, optics, controls, lasers, and
experiment design to push the boundaries of these technologies
forward.Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for leadership of
EUV research projects within the S-Next research program for the
drive laser sub-system.Will be required to lead teams with members
from the research group, the product development team, and key
suppliers.Generation and maintenance of the project plan, detailing
all activities to be conducted within the assigned EUV research
projects, including paper studies, design reviews, system build up
and support on system execution.Ensures proper documentation is
completed for each activity within the project, and that adequate
documentation exists for the product program and D& E (feasibility
results, test procedures, drawings, BOMs).Outward reporting towards
senior management of the progress and forward-looking roadmap of
the assigned research projects.Ensure the successful demonstration
of laser performance targets to meet the future technology roadmap,
as conducted by the project members.Enable technical project team
to successfully identify key scientific learning objectives and
corresponding experimental design which will further the
technological progress of the EUV source.Proactively communicates
issues and manages the solution paths. Assesses and highlights
risks and develops mitigation plans.Supports the Program Manager
(provides information, fill-in during absence, etc.) as
required.Ensure completion and delivery of documents of the project
team members and facilitate the communication of knowledge to
engineering and product development teams.Management of the triple
constraint: timing, budget, and resourcing.Ability to work in any
shift based on project needs.Perform other duties as assigned or
required.Education and experiencePossess strong skills acquired
through advanced training, study, and experience.BS or MS degree
with 8+ years of relevant experience in physics, plasma
engineering, lasers, photonics or equivalent technical
field.Experience with project life cycle and clear understanding of
Project Management fundamentals.Understanding of scientific
research methods and strong curiosity.The successful candidate will
not only have excelled in their technical field but will have
demonstrated inter-personal and communications strengths.Hands-on
experience with complex system design and build, characterization,
troubleshooting.Ability to clearly and logically communicate ideas
and knowledge to various audiences.Preferred Skills and Experience
Qualifications:Technical background with lasers and optical
system.Successful demonstration of project management and
leadership over the full life-cycle of a project, with
corresponding successful completion and delivery of project
objectives.Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a research
project involving multiple stakeholders and
constraints.Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a

range for this role is currently $130,500.00-$217,500.00. Pay
scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with
market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an
assessment of several factors that that are unique to each
candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills,
relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the
