Counseling, andLevel I: Having registered as an Associate Social
Worker (ACSW), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) or
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), orLevel II: A
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional
Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
credential, andAt least 1 year of experience providing services to
adolescents and their familiesESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSPosition
SpecificProvides comprehensive, strength-based, culturally
competent, flexible, effective, quality mental health services,
including psychotherapeutic interventions, to eligible at-risk
children, youth, and families.Provides services to children and
youth involved in the child welfare and Juvenile Justice systems
meeting all County requirements as listed in program scopeProvides
services to assigned children, youth, and families in the home,
office, school, or other community based settingsAble to provide or
arrange for safe transportation for youth and families to services
as neededPossesses specific cultural competence to work with and
outreach to culturally diverse populations and communitiesEnsures
all clinical records are current and accurate, meeting organization
and County timelines for submissionProvides and documents all
eligible services provided, including but not limited to
assessment, plan development, individual therapy, family therapy,
group therapy, collateral, rehabilitation, case management and
crisis interventionCompletes Intake, Core Assessment,
Mid-Assessment, and Discharge packets for assigned client's meeting
expected timelinesAccurately documents all billable and
non-billable services provided, meeting expected timelinesProvides
referrals and resources to children, adults and families, and acts
as a liaison between child/family, assigned treatment team and
external organizationsUtilizes Evidence Based Practices whenever
possible, if clinically indicatedEnsures every assigned family has
an individualized safety plan that maximizes the use of natural
supports and community based resourcesAttends all internal
psychiatric appointments with assigned youth and caregivers as
scheduledParticipates in the agency 24 hour family support on-call
programParticipates in utilization, accreditation, peer review
process as assignedResponsible for meeting all outcomes as
documented in Employee Development PlanWorks collaboratively with
all internal programs, departments, and staff to provide support as
neededMaintains positive relationships with system partners,
families and providersResponsible for meeting all outcomes as
documented in Employee Development PlanAttends all staff meetings,
clinical Supervision, and consultation meetings as
scheduledParticipates in clinical supervision per BBS and County
contract requirementsCoordinates with other services provided under
the program specified model, acting in collaboration with other
