instrumental in helping grow the company by finding leads, closing
sales, supporting existing clients, formulating sales strategies,
and communicating product value to clients. This role focuses on
selling Core Curriculum Products.Position Type: This is a regular,
full-time position.Location: In this US-based position your
location will be remote in your home office in the San Francisco
Bay area. Ideally you should live in Santa Clara, San Mateo, or
Alameda Counties to be considered.Travel: You can also expect up to
75-80% travel (mostly within your territory), so be sure you have a
valid driver's license and automobile insurance and a clean driving
record for at least the preceding 39 months.Envision Your
Experience.In this role you'll have the opportunity to:Present and
demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective
buyers.Develop sales strategies to meet assigned quotas.Provide
support for clients by learning about and satisfying their
needs.Make cold calls or reach out to prospects.Follow up with
prospects several times throughout sales cycle to ensure needs are
being met.Compile and analyze data to find trends.Stay current on
company offers and industry trends.Maintain a database of contact
information.Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships
with external contacts and internal departments to create a world
class customer experience.Handle complaints and negotiations.Attend
trade shows, seminars, client events as needed.Other duties as
required.Share Your Expertise.Experience, education, and
qualifications essential for success in this role,
include:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, or
related field and at least 5-10 years of external sales related
experience; or an acceptable combination of education and
experience.Must be able to travel up to 75-80% (most within your
territory) of the time at least 3-4 days/week, sometimes involving
overnight travel.Must maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Driver License
and a clear DMV record for the past 39 months.Comprehensive and
current knowledge of company offerings and industry trends or
ability to quickly learn.Drive and energy to manage multiple
accounts while looking for new opportunities.Excellent verbal and
written communication skills.Ability to understand client needs and
handle the negotiation process.Strong time management skills with
ability multi-task and meet demanding deadlines.Computer skills,
