Job Description Job Description Description: Position Summary: OneSource Supply Solutions is a woman-owned electrical distributor, providing products and services to electrical utilities and contractors in California and Hawaii. As a Field Sales Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for Public Power and utility EPC accounts in the LA/Orange and Riverside County areas as assigned by the VP of Sales. We will count on you to service these accounts and solicit new business to maximize profitability and customer service. You will position OSS as the primary supplier of electrical supplies by delivering exceptional customer service, communication, and solutions. Our ideal candidate is able to identify customer needs and is passionate about exceeding client expectations; he or she would also be self-motivated, flexible, a strategic thinker, able to succeed both individually and as part of a team. Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 annual sales incentive program What you will do as a Field Sales Manager: Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs. Promote and sell the people, products, and services of OSS. Visit customers and jobsites frequently (throughout assigned area) Work with Project & Services Managers to assemble and deliver bids/quotations/RFPs Work with Project & Services Managers on post-order activities including order entry, project management, logistics/delivery Establish and maintain a consistent call schedule based upon the profitability and future potential of assigned accounts Participate in training sessions and sales meetings Work actively with key suppliers to develop business with new and existing customers Develop and maintain technical knowledge of company products and supplier offerings, application features, advantages, and benefits Coordinate the efforts of the Credit department by obtaining the accounts receivable goals of the organization Keep abreast with industry and market trends and best practices Introduce and demonstrate new products to client Analyze changes in market conditions as they apply to the territory Maintain weekly/monthly OSS and supplier target account plans, joint supplier call objectives, project log and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) updates Embody personal leadership qualities through the following: Be in the moment to ensure authentic and humanistic interactions. Perform all assigned duties in a professional and ethical manner in accordance with OSS policies Requirements: Qualifications: Education and/or Experience: · Electrical, Industrial experience preferred · Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from a 4-year college or University; or · 5 - 7 years' of electrical industry experience and/or 7-10 years sales experience in other construction [JB1] trades · Equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum requirements: · Basic understanding of principles of electricity and power, OR water and pressure · Ability to read, analyze and interpret construction plans and drawings, general business periodicals, professional journals and technical procedures. · Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from small groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. · Ability to perform math functions representative of the job such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and metric scales. · Possess current, in-depth knowledge of general computer systems, Microsoft Office, etc. · Strong ability to negotiate and be persuasive · Can work independently and collaboratively · A metric-oriented, competitive attitude · Define long term objectives while maintaining the ability to adjust to changing situations Supervisory Responsibilities: None Working Conditions and Environment: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions) · Remote/Hybrid Office – in-office meetings required · Long and varied hours required occasionally · Position requires extensive travel and driving Travel: ? The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance. The employee will frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds and may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
